ARK Charity Films
In March this year, Jungle started on a journey with ARK to capture the charity’s work through a suite of inspiring films.
ARK chose Jungle as its creative and production partner and together we travelled across the world to locations where we witnessed ARK achieving positive and lasting change for disadvantaged young people.
ARK brought a vision of creating more engaging films; films that were aesthetically pleasing and that pushed creativity. Jungle shared this vision with enthusiasm and together we successfully produced a fun and entertaining slate of films.
ARK Focus On The Front Line:
Through a light-hearted creative concept, this film explores the notion that in a perfect world, charities like ARK would be a thing of the past. The opening half of the film takes us on a journey through empty wards, clinics and waiting rooms, redundant because ARK have been so successful at delivering their programmes, before a shift back to reality and a call to action.
ARK The Early Years:
Driven by the awesome soundtrack from Kill Bill, this film showcases children from the UK and India as our future leaders. Fighting against urban decay and poor environments, these kids are turning to education, not crime or drugs. By getting it right in the early years, and by receiving a first rate education from ARK, these kids could become future engineers, future teachers, and future doctors – and even the future Governor of the Bank of England!
ARK Main Film:
This short film uses many different speakers, each completing each other’s sentences, one after another, to form one complete narrative. While the speakers and the background change abruptly, everything is framed carefully so that it seems more like one speaker than several. Filmed in the UK, Mozambique, India and Romania, everyone in the film either works on, or benefits from, an ARK programme.
